This was a purely personal project that I did in order to strengthen my Photoshop skills while simultaneously visualizing one of my favorite scenes in “Avatar: The Last Airbender” in a more cinematic way than with the ultra close-up shot that is used in the original show. What I did is put a screenshot from the show in the middle of a much bigger canvas and then used over 20 other screenshots from throughout the show to piece the background together, creating a wide angle shot that was never included in the original show.
